Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter. This was the day Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, held the last supper, and when Judas betrayed Jesus. Maundy is derived from the Latin word for "command" and refers to Jesus' commandment to the disciples to "Love one another as I have loved you." We celebrate this day with a reenactment of the Last Supper. This is a wonderful First Church tradition. We hope you will come and invite someone to come along with you.
