Volunteers needed! Christopher’s House, a joint ministry between First Church and T.A.S.C. (Teen Action Support Center), is hosting our 4th Annual Christopher’s House Golf Classic on Monday, July 29th. Come be a part of a fun event AND help us raise money to keep families together in times of need!
In just the first three years, our annual Golf Classic has raised over $50,000 towards furthering this amazing ministry. With help from our First Church community, we CAN do even more!
What are ways YOU can help?
1) Tell friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, or anyone that enjoys playing golf that we still have spots available for registration.
2) Come out and help! Even if you don’t golf, there are a number of opportunities to help us make this year’s event run smoothly:
Sunday, July 28 9:30 am, Family Life Center -
Help stuff goody bags to be given as “thank-yous” for our players.
Sunday, July 28 12:00 pm, Springdale Country Club -
Help get the clubhouse set up for registration and raffle drawings. Help get the course set up with sponsor signage.
Monday, July 29 7:00 am til 6:00 pm, Springdale Country Club -
Golfer check-in, goody bag handouts, raffle ticket sales, breakfast/lunch set up, snack tent set up, beverage station set up and replenishment, and post-tournament cleanup.
We’ll take all the help we can get! If you can come out for an entire day...great! If you can come out for just an hour...we’d love to see you!
While this truly is a fun event, our ultimate goal is to use it as an opportunity to expand awareness of the ministry that is Christopher’s House. We hope to give families the ability to strengthen themselves by providing a safe, stable home along with life skills and a support system. Come Gather, Grow, and Go with us to make this happen.
