April 28 - Last gathering of the semester
We have 3 Small Groups meeting this semester. They are led by Jeff and Christine Williams, Jeff and Marci Miller, and Adam and Lee-Ellen Kees. These groups will meet every other Wednesday at the host homes from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The schedule is below. Be sure to come hungry because small groups include a meal.
Jeff & Christine Williams
This group will study the Sermon on the Mount - Living in God’s Kingdom Today. Digging into Jesus’s own words on how to live in today’s messy world.
Jeff & Marci Miller
Come learn more about Jesus’s friends as we study various parts of the New Testament. Through six video-based studies, we will examine Jesus’s closest friends throughout his life, as described in the Gospels of the New Testament, and as envisioned by Karen Kingsbury, author of Friends of Jesus. We will have fun discussing how friendships shaped Jesus’s life on earth and how he impacted his friends personally as well, and we will talk about the dynamics of our own friendships with each other and with Jesus, too.
Adam and Lee-Ellen Kees
This semester, this group will do a study called Confronting the Controversies. We will be looking at how to apply our Christian faith to divisive issues in today’s society.
