United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members who raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
We support the many mission projects of the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, as well as statewide projects like Camp Aldersgate and Philander Smith College in Little Rock. Locally, we support the Single Parent Scholarship fund, Bread of Life, 7Hills Homeless Center, Peace at Home Family Shelter, Wesley Foundation and Christopher’s House. U.M.W. also organizes bereavement meals for our congregation and awards a yearly scholarship to a 1st Youth graduating senior.
U.M.W. meets as a group for quarterly general meetings and meals. Circles meet on the third Tuesday of the month September-May.
